Just when I was thinking I wouldn't have any shoes to wear to the Fashion in Translation symposium on Friday...
Aren't they great? They feel like they want me to feel like they are suede...but investigation into the toe tells me they are fabric.
They have the tiniest stitching! And are size 4.5 A! 4.5 Men's? Just kidding. Who knows where they came from; there's no label, or even much imprinted.
If I said these were from the 1940s, would you believe me? That's a mildly educated guess. I am so looking forward to them being incredibly comfortable because of that super high toe and nice big heel...I'll let you know how it goes on Friday when I walk all over Sthlm! Meant for when women actually wore heels all day? I do also love how funny they look from the front in that last photo...
